About

A flagship event of the organisation, this convention will take place at the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie in Paris at the beginning of July 2021. The programme was devised to cater to the needs expressed by the members of the “Com’on !” network, which co-organises the event together with the Communication Department of the CNRS. The organization committee hopes the event will be a good opportunity for the participants to exchange views, interact and meet other like-minded people. The convention is open to all involved in the field of communication, whether they are CNRS employees or non-CNRS employees working as part of a CNRS unit and members of Com’on group.

Communication at the CNRS is based upon the involvement of a wide network of communicators: public relation workers, laboratory correspondents, CNRS and non-CNRS employees, event planners, graphic designers, writers, webmasters, community managers, press attachés, etc. It also relies heavily on joint partnerships with laboratories under the supervision of various operators. Hence, it is vital to get to know each other better, to cooperate more, and to build a strong network. In addition, communication and scientific mediation are evolving quickly. This convention aims at providing everyone with a better understanding of current changes so as to keep on innovating. It is co-organised by the “Com’on!” CNRS communication network and the Communication Department of the CNRS. The event is aimed at all employees who have communication tasks and are part of a CNRS unit.

Each participant will be able to attend the three plenary sessions and will be invited to take part in two workshops of their choice, limited to 30 people per workshop.
